"Red Still Life" 11X14 Acrylic Paint

This is my first acrylic painting. It is different from the usual oil paint I use, but I enjoy its wash-like capabilities and it is definitely not as strong in odor as oil paints. I did have to get used to the quick drying time. I am pretty happy the way it turned out. I did it in about 5 hours.

It's that time of the year again, where we become retail chain lovebots and give flowers and boxes of chocolate. It's a pretty silly made up holiday. Nonetheless, you can't help but look at people around you who have love. This is a very fast painting of two of my friends in the romantic impressionist style :) Let me know what you think.
